When inserting the hook, insert the point right above a leg of the crab and then pull it out the back. Summer won’t produce as many trophy Reds, but there will be Sharks alongside them. The best tide for sheepshead fishing is high tide. I like to use a bronze or black 1/0 Kahle hook, with a 1/2" diameter "fuzz ball" (from the craft section) soaked in shrimp juice. Bounce it across the rocks that are under the water allowing it to come across the face of any sheepshead present. If you’re fishing for larger snook you may want to try something around 50-65lbs.
